    Still three inches of snow on the ground on average, but snow blowing some spots almost bare and others look for five inches ground is mostly snow covered with south-facing slopes are already bare.

    Yes we have 2-3 inches of fresh snow but ground was pretty warm and wet before the snow started.Waiting to hear back on conditions

    Today is the Ski Council Fundraiser at West Branch Country Club. $25 per person. Learn all about the trails and support the club. Skiing all day and dinner 5-7 pm.

    Randy was able to groom the trail system today!! He felt that it groomed well and in good condition. With colder weather here for the weekend and a good track set it should be great on the trails! :) Thx Randy!

    As you might expect, the trails are trashed by all of this rain! still snow cover and skiable but slushy and sloppy. What the predicted warm weather to come, things are not looking good for more skiing in the near future. I will keep you posted if things change

    49th Anniversary Snowmobile Club Open House and Vintage Snowmobile Show going on today till 4 pm. Fun for the whole family. Stop by 2846 North Fairview Road in West Branch.

    Groomer Report Mid-day today we received about 2 inches of nice packing snow on top of an icy base on most of the trail system. Groomers were out last night making things flat as possible prior to the snow. A group of club members was out riding today and reported trails as being good. This Saturday, January 14th the Club will be holding its January monthly General Membership Meeting at Frank Alley Memorial Park starting at 9 a.m. Public is welcome. Club ride to follow meeting to a location for lunch. Weather and conditions permitting. On Saturday, January 21, 2017, the Club will be holding its 49th Anniversary Open House and Vintage Show & Ride. Hours will from 10 A.M. ? 4 P.M. Event will take place at Club House located at Alley Park, Fairview Rd. & Rose City Rd West Branch MI. The event is free to the public including hot dogs, snacks, hot chocolate, coffee and bottled water. Last year we had over 200 vintage sleds and attended by an estimated 800+ people.
